Top 10 Movies of 2009
Saturday, January 2nd, 2010If you haven’t heard (and just in case in you care), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has opted to nominate 10 candidates for Best Picture this year. When I found out about the decision early this summer, I wondered how on earth they were going to find five non-stinkers on which to bestow the honors, let alone twice that amount. Luckily, Hollywood rallied in the second half of the year, offering up some great films across a few genres. Just enough, in fact, for this list of Top 10 movies of 2009.

20 Popular Disney Movie Characters
Friday, January 1st, 2010There are many popular Disney movie characters, and this list focuses on 20 of them. It’s amazing just how many popular Disney movie characters have been created since The Walt Disney Company formed in 1923. Then again, there’s got to be a reason why Walt Disney has more Oscar wins and nominations than any person in history. There are plenty of characters who didn’t make the list, so feel free to chime in with your personal favorites in the comments section.
